Have you ever walked into Boots or Superdrug going in for one thing and walked back out with a bag full of items that you didn’t expect to buy and you are not really sure if any of the colours suit you…! Well this happens to me often. So I wanted to share this clever little colour palette guide that I found to help you (and your purse) from any expensive makeup shopping trips!
I tried this palette test out on three different friends… (all with different skin tones) the results were spot on and some friends were shocked to see how some of colours on the chart actually suited them!
I myself am a mixture between a fair + medium complexion therefore I can cheekily mix between the top 6 lip colours as shown on the chart. for the lighter shades I tend to buy my shiny lip glosses and for the darker shades I plump for the bold matt lipsticks or crayons as they are now known on the market.
Feel free to screenshot the chart and use when you are next out shopping it helped me loads when buying lipstick, lipgloss, lip glaze, lip balm, lip stain (I could go on but you know what I mean) there is so many products available that sometime buying a lip can be a bit overwhelming – I hope this helps you like it did me!
